Arriving as newcomers to Canada, our family set out to become one of the first authentic Szechuan hot pot and dry pot restaurants to open in Western Canada. So authentic and unique are the flavours Lan has been serving, that often visitors would arrive straight from the airport to visit our restaurant Shun Xin Yuan.

It wasn't always the plan to turn Lan's popular secret recipe into a product. However, after seeing the enthusiasm of our returning customers, and how our family dishes are an engrained part of their childhood memories, we couldn't turn down this opportunity.
